But what exactly is a HomeBuyer Survey?

A HomeBuyer Survey is essentially a property health – check which lifts the lid on any hidden issues within the property. The survey provides a report which gives you a clearer picture on what exactly it is you are buying. A HomeBuyer Survey is perfect for houses and flats, new and old.

What does the Survey cover?

In depth internal inspection of ceilings, internal walls, floors, chimney breasts and joinery. In depth external inspection of roof, chimneys, gutters, main walls, windows and doors. We’ll look for any obvious or hidden problems that might affect the property value such as damp, rot and subsidence. The survey takes between 2 – 4 hours. The HomeBuyer report doesn't look beyond the floorboards or behind the walls.
